The De Titus Ambassadors science team represented our school with exceptional skill and dedication at this year's Lagos Regional Science Olympiad. Our JSS 3 students, led by Ada Nwosu and Chidi Okonkwo, designed a solar-powered water purification robot that impressed judges with its innovation and practicality.
The competition featured 34 schools from across the Lagos region, and our team emerged as overall gold medalists. The principal, in her congratulatory address, noted that this victory reflects the school's commitment to STEM education.
"We are incredibly proud of our students. This is what happens when you give young minds the right tools, encouragement, and mentorship," she said.
The winning team will represent Lagos at the National Science Olympiad in Abuja next month.
